The Concord Grape is a well-known blue-black grape and for good reason! These grapes taste delicious whether eaten plain or using in juices, jellies, and jams. This plant is quite a vigorous grower and therefore is perfect for home gardens. When growing, it is recommended to train the strongest of the canes by attaching it to a strong stake of approximately five or six feet and remove any suckers which may develop at the base.
